===== Hierarchical Navigation =====

DokuTouch features a classical hierarchical navigation with clear you-are-here indication. The site structure is defined in a page usually called "sitemap"((This can be configured to be any page name.)). The first level, the main navigation, is placed horizontally at the top. The second and the third level of navigation are on the left hand side.

For example, the sitemap page of this namespace looks like this:

Each namespace has its own sitemap page. If the current namespace has no sitemap page, it will inherit the one of the upper namespace.

===== Multiple Subsites =====

Each namespace is considered a separate subsite with its own navigation. This is most useful for multilingual sites. The subsites / languages menu is placed in the upper right corner of the page. The available options are defined in a page usually called "subsites"((This can be configured to be any page name.)).

For example, the subsites page of this wiki looks like this:
